What Customers Say About Logitech Cordless Rumblepad 2 with Vibration Feedback (Black):

Overall, the controller is awesome (very similar to ps2 or ps3 in style), assuming you have plenty of batteries and know what things it's compatible with before you buy it. It actually comes with a cord, probably long enough to reach how far away i'm sitting, that has a wireless receiver thing on the end of it.

On the pros side of things, the controller feels great, has plenty of buttons, basically installs itself to your computer ready to use, and works awesome for all emulation (especially ps1 and super nintendo type emulation). On the cons side of it, the battery area is kind of large and slightly obtrusive, the battery life is not something to write home about, the controller is only kind of cordless (more on that in a sec), and the buttons are slightly sticky.

having previously owned a logitech controller, just not the "cordless" one, i pretty much knew what i was getting with this controller. I expected it to be a usb input like my mouse has which is about an inch long and barely juts out the side of my laptop.

Note before buying any kind of controller like this that the majority of games for windows will only work with a microsoft xbox style controller for pc (if any at all). Also, the cordless part of it is not really the convenience that i thought it would be.

this would still be a great upgrade for someone wanting to plug their computer or laptop into a tv and use that for gaming, but for someone sitting within arms reach of their laptop or desktop, the whole "cordless" part of it feels kind of pointless. if you're trying to decide between this one and another one, i would recommend not letting the cordless part of it weigh in heavily on your decision.

Just plug it in and it works just fine. Bought it a month ago, it works great. Easy to use in Window 7, don't need to install any driver for it. The battery life is great to, don't have to change battery after 1 month. Would recommend to everyone.

We've got 3 boys and all kinds of controllers for various game systems. This controller seems to me to be a perfect clone of a PS2 controller, but with VERY high quality plastic materials. The battery has lasted over a month of pretty regular use.

Now that is a big pain in the you know what. It has never worked quite right. I have had this product for several years. The game I tried it on was Colin Mcrae Ralley 2005. The logitech software is terrible. You have to configure each game with the correct controls within the logitech software. Also tried it on a few other games that I can't recall the names of. I'd really like to have a controller I can just plug in and use, instead of having to program it for each individual game with buggy non user-friendy software. This piece of junk is sitting in box somewhere in my apartment collecting dust(the only thing its good at).

PC game vendors need to really focus on making the usages and functions better integrated so it's same as the consoles. Even more time spent if you want to get it to work with a game that is not on the profile list. I want the identical experience of a console on my PC. This item works, but after some configuration. Why can't vendors work closer with game makers and support the functionality natively. It's not that hard.
